Job Description
Our client is a diversified holding company with a strong presence in the Manufacturing FMCG and Agriculture sectors. Due to expansion they are in need of a Packaging Machine Operator.
Location: Ikorodu Lagos
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Sachet Packaging Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sachet packaging machinery to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products. This role requires a keen eye for quality control strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Job Description:
Set up and operate sachet packaging machines according to standard operating procedures and production schedules.
Inspect and monitor packaged products to ensure they meet quality standards including proper sealing filling and labeling.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging machines to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
Monitor and manage supplies such as film rolls sachet materials and other packaging components. Report shortages or issues to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of production runs machine performance and any issues encountered. Complete necessary documentation and reports.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure timely and efficient production processes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in any relevant field; additional technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
Proven experience operating sachet packaging machines or similar packaging equipment is preferred.
Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments on machinery.
Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or packaging processes.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
