Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders and equipment logs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
  • Order and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
  • This role is 2nd shift.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician particularly in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for handling heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in industrial maintenance engineering technology or a related field.
  • Certification in relevant areas such as HVAC electrical or plumbing.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise junior maintenance staff.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and costeffectiveness.
