Job Description
SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER
Location: Coimbatore
Years of Experience: 3 to 6 years
About the Role:
As a Senior Quality Engineer at TrusTrace you will be responsible for solving challenging realtime problems using cuttingedge technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work with industry thought leaders and prominent brands. You will collaborate with the product team to translate requirements into user stories and priorities gaining handson experience in inspection activities problem detection and resolution to ensure product quality.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Manual Testing focusing on Web Applications and API(Postman).
- The ability to understand business requirements and designs.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) process.
- Experience with Agile Methodology.
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
- Experience with Jira Confluence SQL and MongoDB.
- Approximately 1 year of experience in Web Application Automation Testing using Selenium and Java.
Key Responsibilities:
MustHave:
- Expertise in building wellstructured Test Cases and Test Plans.
- Ensuring endtoend quality delivery including Smoke Sanity Feature/Functional Integration System Regression User Interface / User experience testing.
- Estimating prioritizing and planning testing activities.
- A passion for Quality Engineering.
- Close collaboration with the product owner to own teams quality KPIs.
- Customer/Stakeholder collaboration.
- Advocacy of best practices.
- Tackling challenges from multiple perspectives with a focus on quality.
- A proactive attitude towards learning assessing team strengths taking ownership and communication.
GoodtoHave:
- Knowledge in NonFunctional Requirement (NFR) testing including performance load stress security compatibility and penetration testing.
- Understanding of the supply chain management business domain.
- API automation using Rest Assured / Karate
- Any industrystandard certification like ISTQB ASQ ISO/IEC etc.
