Teachers in Mathematics Physics and Computer Science at Studienkolleg

About us:

Berlin International College is a private Studienkolleg. We prepare international students without direct university entrance qualification (HZB) in language and subjectspecific courses and thereby enable them to study at German universities. For our upcoming Bachelor Prep Program Technology English in English language we are looking for teachers in Mathematics Physics and Computer Science.

Tasks

You will be preparing the students in your respective subject including exercises and tests for the final examination at BIC which you will be conducting as well together with other teachers.

Subjects:

• Mathematics (Elementary mathematics curve sketching integration extreme value problems)
• Physics (Statics kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies electromagnetic fields DC circuits)
• Computer Science incl. introduction to basic Python programming

Timeframe: 18. Nov 2024 20. Jun 2025 5 weeks exam period ( 30.06. 01.08.2025)

Hours: 6 30 teaching units ( 45 mins.) per week

Class times: 09:00 14:30 / 16:15

Mode of classes: Onsite

Language of instruction: English

Requirements

You are a good fit if you ...

• have good knowledge of the respective subject
• got at least one year experience in teaching groups of at least 5 students.
• communicate fluently in English (speaking and writing) incl. relevant subject specific terms
• have intercultural experience (advantage)
• have a work permit for Germany
• located in Berlin
