IoT roaming engineer with Java

KTI Talent Indicator is a talent discovery software platform with AI that offers: talent mapping evaluation and reskilling services with training to companies.

The role will focus on implementing networking applications for advanced 4G/5G networks with special emphasis on roaming messaging and Internet of Things (IoT) services.

As IoT Signalling and Roaming Engineer you will take responsibilities in all the stages of the life cycle of the application (design coding building testing deployment support and maintenance). With an agile approach developer engineer is responsible for the technical implementation of specific application deliverables supporting successful realisation (time budget scope) of business projects and evolutive initiatives.

Functions

1. Plan design develop and maintain highavailable and highperformance JAVA applications
2. Analyse needs and propose optimal and innovative solutions.
3. Contribute to the automation of work processes (testing installation monitoring etc.)
4. Carry out application releases.
5. Debug and fix application errors
6. Take part with your teammates in the L3 24x7 guard duty service.

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in Engineering in Computer Science Telecommunications or related field.
2. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
3. Solid knowledge on JAVA with at least 3 years of experience.
4. Experience contributing to the design and architecture (design patterns scalability reliability etc.) of software solutions.
5. Experience working with agile software development lifecycle and process workflow including best practises coding standards code review software versioning control build testing releasing etc.
6. Handson experience on Linux environments.
7. Familiar with software development tools (Git Maven Nexus Jira)
8. Experience with Relational Databases SQL and ORM technologies.
9. Knowledge and experience in C and Python would be plus.
10. Familiar with computer networks and communication protocols (IP TCP UDP HTTP) as well as software virtualization and automation (VMware KVM Docker Ansible etc.)
11. Familiar with telecom networks architecture and protocols (SS7 Diameter ).
