Senior Database Administrator

Project/client: Logistics and IT Consultancy

Project duration: 3 months with possibility of extension

Start date: ASAP

Location: remote from within EU

Role: We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator. The role involves reviewing and documenting jobs running Axapta SQL DB health checks identifying problematic queries and suggesting improvements across SQL Server versions 2005 to 2022.

MustHave Requirements:

Extensive experience with Axapta SQL Server (versions).
Ability to review and provide descriptions for numerous database jobs.
Expertise in running SQL DB health checks and identifying blocking or incorrect queries.
Strong problemsolving skills to suggest and implement database improvements.
Effective communication skills in English.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in the logistics industry.
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization for Axapta SQL databases.
Ability to collaborate with different teams to ensure database performance improvements are well understood and implemented.
