Job Description

For our client an international grain trading company in the canton Zug we are looking for:

Grain Trader (m/f/d) 100%

Tasks

  • Acquisition of potential clients (sourcing and engaging partners within the European market).
  • Scaling and implementing ideas for new project development.
  • Participating in the full sales cycle and providing postsales customer service.
  • Identifying potential deals following up on inquiries.
  • Organizing and managing deals working with the database.
  • Monitoring demand in different countries and procurement prices for agricultural products.
  • Selling agricultural products (wheat corn sunflower etc.).

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in trading grains in the European market.
  • Understanding of global grains markets supply chain logistics and regulatory environments.
  • Proficiency in trading software financial modelling and market analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex market data.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • EU/EFTApassport or a valid work permit (C or B) for Switzerland.
