Senior Backend and DevOps Engineer

Established in 2018 Sun Studio is a game developer on web platforms and mobile devices with more than 1 billion plays a strategic partner of the worlds leading webgames platforms such as: Facebook Instant Games Game Distribution Glance Gaming.

The team consists of over 50 members who are passionate about creating games that are accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

We seek an experienced Backend Engineer to primarily focus on developing backend systems while optimizing cloud and internal infrastructure.

Your role will also involve developing scalable systems implementing CI/CD pipelines writing clean reusable code using technologies like NodeJS Golang Python gRPC Docker Kubernetes SQL and MongoDB. Additionally the DevOps aspect of the role will evolve and expand over time as our infrastructure grows and matures.

Tasks

• Work on backend systems for our games
• Optimize cloud and internal infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineers to improve current technologies
• Configure and manage data sources like SQL and MongoDB

Requirements

• 4 years professional experience in NodeJS Golang or Python
• 1 year managing cloudbased environments and infrastructure as code
• Proficiency with Docker Kubernetes and relational and NoSQL databases
• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
• A passion for games
• Native Vietnamese

We expect you to work in the office to closely follow and support our leadership. Working hours are from 9:00 18:30 from Monday to Friday.

Even so we do not micromanage or count your hours but we expect you to take ownership of your work proactively communicate and be reachable during work hours.
