Job Description

This is a remote position.

Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Attorney with expertise in MSOPC (Management Services Organization Professional Corporation) structuring and healthcare transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law transactional experience and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. This role focuses on supporting our internal team with MSOPC structuring and healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the internal team with MSOPC structuring ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Support the drafting review and negotiation of agreements related to healthcare transactions including mergers acquisitions joint ventures and partnerships.
  • Conduct due diligence and provide strategic support on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and regulations that may impact our projects.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in California State Bar and in good standing.
  • Significant experience in healthcare law with a focus on MSOPC structuring and healthcare transactions.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations including Stark Law AntiKickback Statute and HIPAA.
  • Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Active membership in good standing with California State bar. - Experience as a corporate counsel or in a similar role is preferred. New lawyers who are able to learn quickly are also welcome to apply - Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Important note: To enhance your candidacy for this role, please provide a sample of your written work, such as contracts or agreements you have drafted.
