Data Architect

Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)

DAYTODAY DUTIES:

As a Data Architect at Top Sigma you will:

• Design and implement robust data architectures to support business intelligence and data science initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to develop and optimize data pipelines.
• Create and maintain scalable data models and structures.
• Utilize Python and SQL to manage and manipulate large datasets.
• Leverage AWS services to build and maintain cloudbased data solutions.
• Employ DBT for efficient data transformation and modeling.
• Implement and optimize solutions using Databricks and Spark for largescale data processing.
• Ensure data quality consistency and security across various data sources and platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead data architecture projects.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in DBT for data transformation.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.
• Handson experience with Databricks and Spark for data processing.
