POSITION: HR Recruiter

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

REPORTING TO: HR Manager / Recruitment Lead

DIRECT REPORTS: HR Manager / Recruitment Lead

Position Purpose

We are seeking an experienced HR Recruiter with a strong background in endtoend recruitment within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of proven experience sourcing recruiting and onboarding top talent for various roles in the construction sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building and maintaining a highperforming team by identifying and attracting skilled professionals.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Recruitment Strategy:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the construction industry.

Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and job specifications.


2. Talent Sourcing:

Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to attract candidates including job boards social media industry networks and direct sourcing.

Build and maintain a talent pool of potential candidates for future openings.


3. Candidate Screening and Selection:

Conduct thorough candidate screenings including phone interviews video interviews and inperson interviews.

Evaluate candidates qualifications experience and cultural fit with the company.

Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.


4. EndtoEnd Recruitment:

Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation and acceptance.

Handle preemployment processes such as background checks reference checks and employment verifications.


5. Client and Candidate Management:

Maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Provide regular updates to hiring managers and candidates ensuring clear and timely communication.


6. Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:

Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as timetofill costperhire and candidate quality.

Use data to continuously improve the recruitment process and outcomes.


7. Compliance and Best Practices:

Ensure compliance with labor laws regulations and company policies throughout the recruitment process.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies.


8. Onboarding and Integration:

Oversee the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

Provide support and guidance to new employees during their initial period.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor s degree in human resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of endtoend recruitment experience within the construction industry.

Skills:

Proven ability to source screen and select candidates effectively.

Strong understanding of the construction industry and its specific hiring requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

Proficient in using recruitment software and tools (e.g. ATS systems LinkedIn Recruiter).
