To support our Financial Reporting team we are searching for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
Tasks
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This is a senior role in our Financial Reporting organization and a unique opportunity to be a key contributor and shape a small team into a bestinclass organization
- You will be responsible for shaping our accounting policies (IFRS) across all business areas and ensure their rigorous documentation and adoption
- Be the face of Financial Reporting when working closely with stakeholders across the company to define applicable accounting standards
- Spearhead continuous development of our accounting standards incl. local GAAPs IFRS conversion leading several topics with a high degree of independence
- Drive conversations with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including our quarterly and yearend group audit
- In addition you will oversee both special and strategic group projects with an impact on group accounting
Requirements
WHO YOU ARE
You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or finance and have several years of professional experience in group accounting auditing or in a comparable position with management responsibility
- Excellent technical accounting (IFRS) knowledge including experience with group reporting / consolidation
- Furthermore you are familiar with current reporting and consolidation systems (e.g. LucaNet) and ideally have a certification in accounting (ACCA CPA).
- Selfstarter with the drive to work in a fastpaced ever changing highgrowth organization
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex accounting topics
- You are also confident in creating financial models in MS Excel and have fluent written and spoken English (ideally English native speaker) as well as strong communication skills.
