For the Swiss trading entity of an international commodity trading company based in Baar/Zug Switzerland.
Tasks
Responsibilities
- Managing Oil operations related to execution of commodity contracts via seaborne transport
- Following the financial aspects of international transactions such as opening L/Cs negotiate and issue documents cashing of L/C manage credit limits
- Following and further setup the intercompany business process to ensure company standards and requirements are fulfilled
- Interaction and correspondence with various stakeholders such as internal departments banks insurance companies inspection companies sellers buyers intermediates
- Sending of documentary instructions to suppliers ship agents inspection or insurance companies and ensuring the timely issuance of documents
- Monitoring of loading and discharge operations in coordination with agents and surveyors
- Processing payments for product freight and logistic services
- Coordinating further setup and implementation of ERP system by entering updating and finalizing contracts shipments and invoices in the System
Requirements
Requirements
- 15 years of work experience in similar position and/or exposure to commodity trading / logistics / operations of seaborne trade / trade finance
- Familiar with international transport documentation
- Accurate working and detail oriented ability to independently manage tasks but also work in a team ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge in MS Office ERP System
- Organization skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions
- Selfstarter and reliable
- English (written & spoken fluently) any additional languages is a plus
