Services Required:

Development & Customization:

o Program and customize technical components in applications including associated interfaces modules and databases.

o Implement and optimize components using Smalltalk technologies.

o Develop solutions that ensure the stability and functionality of the systems including new functionalities and integration of existing IT services.

Testing & Documentation:

o Conduct various levels of testing including unit component and module group tests.

o Perform code reviews and document technical components and system functionality.

o Create detailed IT design descriptions for complex requirements.

Integration & Optimization:

o Connect applications to subsequent systems in the timetable IT environment.

o Implement performance optimizations and correct errors from testing phases.

o Document and archive business processes related to the Electronic Book Timetable.

Technical Analysis & Reporting:

o Analyze technical requirements and develop implementation options.

o Report risks and problems to technical architects and project management.

o The primary place of performance is Frankfurt am Main with services to be provided nearshore.

Technical Requirements:

Experience:

o Smalltalk Development:

At least 2 years of practical experience with Smalltalk and VisualWorks including frameworks for database connection or comparable objectoriented programming languages.

o Java Development:

At least 4 years of practical experience as a Java Developer including knowledge of JavaEE Spring Gradle and related technologies.

o IT Projects:

Experience in EVU IT projects especially in sales and timetables with practical experience in timetable IT for at least 2 years.

o Agile Methods:

At least 4 years of experience in program and project management using agile methods such as Scrum or SaFE.

o Database Knowledge:

Proven experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases including Springboot Spring Data and related tools.

Skills:

o Tools:

Familiarity with tools such as Maven NPM GIT Xray Jira and Postman.

o Languages:

German (spoken and written) at Level B2 or Equivalent.

English (spoken and written) at Level B2 or equivalent.

o Presentation Skills:

Experience in preparing and delivering presentations with strong rhetorical skills.
