AVP Sr Manager - Database Activity Monitoring with a Large Private Bank

Responsibilities:

• Monitor database activity in realtime and investigate security incidents to ensure prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to address security concerns and improve database security posture.
• Stay uptodate with emerging security threats and industry best practices to continuously enhance database security.
• Participate in the design implementation and delivery of Cyber Security applications and appliances including Guardium database activity monitoring.
• Participate in the daytoday operations and maintenance of the security engineering team and associated appliances.
• Able to research evaluate troubleshoot and devise course of action for security hardware/software and tools to make overall impact on the enterprises existing security environment.
• Implementing security controls policies and alerting within enterprise database platforms.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL database platform security
• Expertise in database threat analytics

Experience required:

• Experience in working on Database activity monitoring (DAM) solutions from Imperva or Any DAM Tool.
• Clear understanding on the attributes nuances place holder for all the events generated by DAM tool.
• Database monitoring (Imperva) for data security (L2 level) Concepts of data security
• Develop and maintain security policies rules and procedures to detect and prevent unauthorized access and malicious activities.
• General understanding of application layer security concepts application layer Web and/or database protocols.
• Experience implementing or managing data centre security or database applications.
• Installation and monitoring of Imperva Secure Sphere Server and Gateway Devices for DAM
• Monitoring of the Databases and Instances Analyse any DAM related incidents and Escalate the incidents
• Proven knowledge of Database Activity Monitoring and real time incident reporting
• Installation and maintenance of Agents for DAM operations
• System/Services Monitoring troubleshooting and maintenance of PAM servers Good to have advanced skills or knowledge in some of the following: Unix / Linux Operating System Configuration & Troubleshooting

Required skills:

• Database Activity Monitoring (granular event level and attribute level preferably Imperva DAM onpremises and cloud )
• Imperva database activity monitoring (Any certification)
