We are looking for a talented SAS Data Engineer with a robust technical background to design develop and maintain our data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAS tools and frameworks along with exposure to Python for data manipulation and processing. You will play a critical role in building and optimizing ETL processes to ensure the availability accuracy and reliability of our data.

Tasks

• Design develop and maintain ETL data pipelines using SAS tools and frameworks.
• Work extensively with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) SAS Data Integration (DI) and SAS Management Console (MC) to manage and optimize data processes.Develop and maintain SAS Macros for efficient data processing and automation.
• Utilize SAS LSF for job scheduling and process automation.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is available clean and ready for analysis.
• Integrate Python libraries (NumPy Pandas PySpark) for advanced data manipulation and processing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines to improve performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with company and industry standards.Stay uptodate with the latest developments in SAS and Python and bring innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SAS tools: SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) SAS Data Integration (DI) SAS Management Console (MC) SAS Macros and SAS LSF.
• Exposure to Python particularly in using libraries such as NumPy Pandas and PySpark.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and experience in designing and implementing data pipelines.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Certification related to SAS (e.g. SAS Certified Base Programmer SAS Certified Advanced Programmer or other relevant certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices.
