Driven by a passion for addressing gender sexual health disparities & promoting sustainability OhMyV aims to revolutionise the sexual wellness industry with innovative solutions formulated specifically for vulva health.

With backing from the EU the Berlin Senate the Freie Universitt and Charit were ready to make waves in sexual wellness.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) with an entrepreneurial spirit and a keen interest in spearheading the scientific development of our groundbreaking SexTech company focused on designing products for vulva health. As our CSO you will bridge the gap between business and science driving innovation and product development.

Tasks

We believe the following experiences and skills will set you up for success in this venture:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the research and development of new products for vulva health utilising your expertise in Materials Science Chemistry Womens Sexual Health Gynaecology Vaginal Microbiome or a related discipline.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure scientific accuracy and efficacy in product development ensuring that business objectives are met.
• Challenge societal norms surrounding sexuality and gender health equity by actively participating in industry events and fostering partnerships with likeminded organisations.
• Demonstrate resilience and innovative problemsolving skills navigating challenges with creativity and determination.
• Contribute to the overall growth and success of the company by embracing a handson approach and undertaking diverse tasks beyond the immediate scope of expertise.
• Effectively communicate scientific concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Requirements

What were looking for:

• A passion for challenging societal norms and fostering gender sexual health equity
• PhD or MSc in Materials Science Chemistry Sexual Health Gynaecology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a startup or business environment showcasing the ability to blend scientific knowledge with business acumen.
• Demonstrated integrity selfmotivation and an executionoriented mindset indicative of a leader ready to drive OhMyVs scientific vision and strategic goals.
• English language proficiency (German proficiency is advantageous but not necessary).
