Job Description
- niostems mission is to enable healthier and more fulfilling lives by creating smart wearable technology that unlocks the full potential of the human body.
- Our first use case is to solve common hair loss by combining hardware software and regenerative approaches in a fully integrated D2C wearable device.
- We are a fastgrowing VCbacked startup from Cologne building a highperformance team to challenge the status quo and change millions of lives with your help.
- Currently we are looking to expand our R&D team.
Tasks
- Work on theoretical modelling biology and hardware development
- Apply bioengineering and (bio)electrical stimulation to medical regenerative and wellness applications
- Conceptualize prototype and develop skin sensor technology data acquisition and testing
- Work in a crossfunctional team communicate technical requirements and interdependencies across disciplines
- Contribute to innovative R&D projects from ideation through writing prototyping and testing
- Develop the company and contribute to success in a disruptive space
- Possibility to work on data processing analytics and computer modelling.
Requirements
- MSc/PhD in Biomedical Engineering Bioengineering Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience with (bio)electrical stimulation in medical applications/devices such as wound healing is a must.
- Experience in scientific writing with a proven publication record
- Knowledge of programming modelling and data analysis are a plus
- Passion for biomedical sciences technology and startups
- Fluency in English (German is a plus)
- The applicant must be located in Germany/Netherlands
