The Opportunity

Role: Internship

Key Responsibilities:

• The incumbent should know the ins and outs of the NBA WNBA and Major basketball leagues.
  

• The incumbent should have a firm grasp of English and should possess relevant experience in transcribing.
  

• The incumbent needs to be aware that the work timings are in Pacific Standard Time (PST) as most publications and podcasters in the USA push out content during that time.
  

• The incumbent will be responsible for comparing and analyzing our competitors on a firsttomarket basis for news and lifestyle articles.
  

• Additionally the incumbent will also be expected to assist the content team in monitoring social media trends and profiles and identify unique content opportunities both on and off the court.
  

Requirements

• Candidates who are extremely passionate about basketball.
  

• Candidates who can start immediately.
  

• Candidates who listen to podcasts and interviews regularly.
  

• Candidates who have done transcribing jobs previously will be at an advantage.
  

• Candidates who are passionate and willing to work in online media.
  

• Candidates who are social media savvy.
  

• Candidates must be wellversed with the NFL and should keep up to date with the professional and personal lives of famous personalities.
  

• Candidates should be able to spot trends on social media and monitor online activity of famous influencers players and their partners with the intention of coming up with content ideas from the same.
  

• Candidates should possess strong research and factchecking skills timeliness and attention to detail.
  

• Candidates should be effective in communication when it comes to duties and responsibilities. This is nonnegotiable. The willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
