Job Description
As a Senior Network Engineer you will:
- Provide support to projects services and scientific programs by developing diagrams specifications technical manuals and other documentation.
- Propose and implement solutions to technical and business challenges to support project and service managers.
- Assist project and service managers in the preparation and implementation of new capabilities as well as the continuous improvement of existing ones.
- Oversee the daytoday operation of routing switching and wireless infrastructure for both local and remote sites.
- Implement Network as a Service (NaaS) infrastructure elements in a centralized manner adhering to NATO and industryspecific standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations for fault rectification activities during and after project implementation.
- Maintain documentation related to daily activities network configurations network mapping processes operating procedures and service records within the Area of Responsibility (AoR).
- Set up demonstrations explain features and benefits to customers and configure products and services to meet specific business needs and objectives.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience with service provider IP/MPLS networks on Nokia and Cisco platforms.
- Proficiency in Telco Configuration Management Database (CMDB) operation preferably with SRTS.
- Experience in deploying and commissioning service provider architectures similar to NGCS and NCI.
- Expertise in supporting Data Center Infrastructure Services (DCIS) activities translating technical specifications into business/service impacts.
- Experience in delivering Level 2 and Level 3 IP/MPLS service provider support and oncall incident resolution.
- CCNPlevel IP routing and equivalent MPLS service provider knowledge (NRCI / II).
You should possess the ability to:
- Develop and implement technical solutions that address business and operational challenges.
- Effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Maintain and manage complex network infrastructure and documentation efficiently.
- Provide highlevel support and resolution for advanced network issues.
