Job Description

Our client has forged a reputation of excellence in the Process Control Instrumentation and Petro Chemical Industry in Southern Africa. We are looking for a Sales Representative to join their team.

The primary function of the Sales Representative is to visit clients within the industry and market the clients products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Generating purchase orders from clients and reaching the relevant sales targets.
  • Visiting clients to market the companys products and services.
  • Tracking of all sales pipeline activities.
  • Research of clients and markets.
  • Cold calling new clients.
  • Daily quotations to clients.


Requirements

  • Matric
  • 3 5 Years sales experience.
  • Technical knowledge of instrumentation and associated equipment.
  • Know the petrochemical industry and people who we will be selling to directly.
  • Must be able to cold call customers to obtain details of projects etc.
  • Instrument/valves experience and knowledge.
  • MS Word Excel and Outlook knowledge is essential.
  • Must have understanding of call planning and customer visits.
  • Must understand sales pipelines.
  • Must have technical knowledge of valves and instrumentation.
  • Must understand how a petrochemical terminal operates.
Advantageous
  • Existing relationships with customers in the Oil & Gas Petrochemical Chemical Mining industries will be beneficial.



Benefits

  • Salary: R20 000 R30 000 depending on experience
  • Commission
  • Company car/car allowance
  • Fuel and cell phone allowance
  • Hours from 8:00 4:30
  • Hybrid 12 day in the office for meeting etc.
