Mechanical Engineer PE PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer PE / PM with HVAC and/or plumbing design experience to join our clients team. This is a fulltime direct hire position located in Austin offering a competitive compensation package benefits bonuses and PTO programs.

Responsibilities:

Design and generate AutoCAD and/or Revit files and construction documents for various building types focusing on HVAC plumbing and other mechanical systems.

Manage projects establish schedules assign resources monitor performance and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

Maintain and organize all mechanical engineeringrelated documents and schedules.

Review mechanical design submittals and address field issues as needed.

Present project status updates to internal and external audiences.

Develop new business with existing and new clients through relationship building.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline; MS degree is a plus.

Current PE License.

At least 6 years of relevant experience in HVAC or plumbing design and project management.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with HVAC modeling programs such as TRACE700 CHVAC7.0 and/or AIRMaster is a plus.

Experience in HVAC / Plumbing design and project management for commercial multifamily educational healthcare and institutional buildings is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders.
