Job Description

Sybrin provides solutions to the financial services, insurance, and telecommunications industries through our Digital Banking and Payments Suite, Sybrin Apex and our Intelligent Automation Suite, Sybrin AI. These innovative solutions can easily be tailored to our Clients’ specific industries, regions, and requirements using our Rapid Application Development (RAD) Platform, Sybrin Platform.

Sybrin System is looking for a Presales Solutions Architect to work with our Business Development, Product and Project teams to provide technical and business solutioning expertise during sales and project engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Sybrin Platform and product offerings and how they can technically and functionally cater for our clients’ solution requirements
  • Partake in client meeting to unpack the solution requirements in enough detail to accurately quote
  • Lead presentations/demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of the Sybrin Platform and product offerings and explain how the platform can be customised to fit the client’s purpose.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Bid Office to prepare proposals, tenders and/or quotations.
    • Define the designed solution as per the client’s requirements
    • Provide solution diagrams
    • Define which Sybrin software modules will be required in the proposed solution
    • Specify the scope inclusions, assumptions, and exclusions
    • Estimate the required professional services efforts and cost
    • Formulate an indicative project flight plan
    • Ensure terms and conditions are valid based on the costing and project model
  • Collaborate with the product development teams to ensure the product caters for the solution requirements, either by motivating for functionality to be added to the product roadmap or by defining the custom development that would need to be delivered by the project team.
  • Collaborate with the project teams to handover the proposed solution designs, ensuring the team understands the business requirements and how to technically deliver the solution.

Experience & Skills:

  • Prior software implementation professional services or a consulting background
  • Working with customers to capture and define requirements
  • Knowledge of APIs and experience of software integration
  • Agile working practice, structured project management, and communication
  • Advantageous to have experience in payments, banking and/or Regtech industries
  • Intuitive about how an idea can be turned into an actual working application using drag and drop visual environment
  • Familiarity with pre-built templates, drag-and-drop visual interface, entity builder
  • Basic SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general Web 2.0 techniques experience
  • For more complex applications, experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, JavaScript) and Backend C# knowledge would be useful.
