Roles and responsibilities
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Collaborate with superfunction leaders (Marketing, IT, HR, and Product teams) to develop and maintain annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Provide detailed variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecast, and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with superfunction leaders to anticipate future resource needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Create and deliver monthly financial reports, including performance dashboards, for each superfunction.
- Analyze spending patterns across superfunctions and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop KPIs to measure the efficiency and ROI of superfunction initiatives (e.g., marketing campaigns, IT investments, recruitment programs).
Cost Management and Efficiency
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for major projects within superfunctions, such as system upgrades, marketing campaigns, and HR initiatives.
- Work with the procurement team to ensure cost controls are implemented and optimized across superfunctions.
- Identify areas of overspending or inefficiency and propose actionable solutions to improve cost management.
Collaboration and Business Partnering with Superfunctions
- Act as the primary financial partner for superfunction leaders, ensuring they understand financial implications of decisions and have access to accurate, actionable data about performance and trends.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between superfunctions to identify synergies and cost-sharing opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Finance and Corporate FP&A teams to integrate superfunction data into company-wide financial planning.
Process Improvement and Automation
- Work with the Data Analytics (BI) team to automate financial reporting processes for real-time insights.
- Continuously refine financial models and tools to enhance accuracy, scalability, and ease of use.
- Drive process improvements in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders, ensuring efficiency across financial workflows.
Scenario Planning and Strategic Initiatives
- Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives within superfunctions.
- Support leadership in assessing the financial viability of large-scale projects or initiatives (e.g., IT system overhauls, marketing expansions, or recruitment drives).
- Deliver insights for long-term planning and ensure alignment with Snoonu’s ultra-app vision.
Desired candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance partnering, or financial analysis, ideally supporting corporate functions with a strong financial focus.
- Experience in fintech, e-commerce, food delivery, or fast-moving scale-ups is a significant plus.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Experience working closely with Marketing, IT, HR, or Product and Tech teams is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Hyperion) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
