Job Description: We are seeking skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapists for contract positions in various healthcare facilities throughout Canada. As a Respiratory Therapist with Explore Med Staffing Solutions you will have the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings providing critical respiratory care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess treat and care for patients with breathing disorders and other cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy aerosol medications and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and proper use of respiratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing with a provincial regulatory body in Canada.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to different healthcare environments.
