Job Description

We are hiring a Regional Governance Officer for a leading Nursing Home in Co Dublin Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Supplying strategic clinical guidance and making sure the Director of Governance receives sound counsel.
  • Assist the Director of Governance in making sure that resident safety quality and clinical governance protocols are implemented efficiently.
  • Together with senior colleagues support the creation and execution of organizational policies and procedures for clinical domains.
  • Ensure that you are knowledgeable about all current laws and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the directors of nursing to guarantee that each residents experience and level of care are continuously assessed and improved.
  • Make sure that the entire company has efficient resident safety procedures in place and that these procedures are routinely audited.
  • Protect every resident by adhering to clinical regulations and procedures as well as maintaining thorough records.
  • Remain informed about developments in the field of geriatric care including therapeutic tools data processing technologies government rules changes in health insurance and lowcost service delivery choices.




Requirements

  • Will be a knowledgeable and proficient nurse manager with a current PIN.
  • possess appropriate thirdlevel education and/or a professional degree ideally in healthcare management
  • possess a thorough understanding of the HIQA National Standards and Regulations
  • Capacity to persuade and inspire a variety of stakeholders to ensure ongoing service improvement
  • Capacity to efficiently prioritize tasks and oversee ones workload when working independently or in a team.
  • Possess outstanding organizing and planning abilities and exude confidence vigour and persuasiveness.
  • Possess an observable aptitude for problemsolving
  • Possess substantial EPICCARE experience and superior IT abilities.
  • It is preferred to have experience in change management in addition to quality audits and standards in a healthcare setting.
  • Five years or more of experience in a senior clinical job is required.
