APAC - Finance Automation Specialist

Overview

Reporting Line & Location

• The Finance Automation Specialist will report to the Asia Pacific Accounting & Controlling Manager. This role will be based in Malaysia and travel will be part of the role.
  

Main Accountabilities

• Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies for financial process optimization.
  
• Develop and implement custom solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate
  
• Develop programming and implement Robotic Process Automation ( RPA ) solutions for financial processes using relevant tools and technologies for the identified opportunities for automation and improvement for existing financial processes.
  
• Develop RPA or automation tool for seamless integration with existing financial systems ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and other relevant platforms.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and trends
  
• Collaborate with Finance endusers to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to optimize processes further as continuously improvement.
  
• Create comprehensive documentation for automated processes including specifications user guides and training materials.
  
• Maintain uptodate documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and support.
  
• Provide training to endusers on newly developed automated processes and tools. Offer ongoing support to address any issues or concerns related to the automated financial processes.
  
• Conduct workshops presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of lowcode platforms to teammates and internal stakeholders.
  
• Monitor the performance of automated processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest and implement enhancements.
  

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Masters degree is a plus.

At least 2 years of experience in Power Apps and Power Automate development

Proficient in Power Apps Power Automate and SharePoint

Knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O Uipath VBA or related is a plus.

Excellent communication and problemsolving skills

Solid understanding of relational database technologies.

Solid knowledge of integration technologies APIs and protocols.

Power Platform (Canvas/modeldriven apps SharePoint Power BI)

Relational databases (design/SQL/tuning)

Web APIs (SOAP/REST)

Tooling (GIT/JIRA/Azure DevOps)

VBA

Good written and verbal communications skills;

Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities;

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision;

Flexible mindset and positive attitude able to adapt in an evolving environment

Excellent time management skills in order to follow different assigned targets;

Highly organized handson able to work well under pressure handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
