Logistics Manager

Position: Logistics Manager

Our client is a leading company in the logistics industry providing a wide range of transportation and supply chain solutions. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in California USA.

As the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the companys logistics operations. This includes coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods and materials managing inventory levels and ensuring timely and costeffective delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics strategies and policies to ensure efficient and effective operations

Manage and optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and improve delivery times

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize excess inventory

Oversee warehouse operations including receiving storage and shipping of goods

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Develop and maintain relationships with carriers suppliers and other logistics partners

Conduct regular performance evaluations of logistics processes and identify areas for improvement

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and industry standards

Prepare and manage logistics budgets and forecasts

Train and develop team members to ensure a high level of performance and productivity

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management preferably in the transportation or supply chain industry

Strong knowledge of logistics processes including transportation warehousing and inventory management

Proven experience in developing and implementing logistics strategies and policies

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

Strong leadership and team management skills

Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to logistics operations
