DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. This role is crucial for building and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes and optimizing our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build test and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize system performance reliability and security.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Develop and implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams regarding DevOps practices and tools.
• Stay current with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform CloudFormation Ansible or similar.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer or Google Professional DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Splunk.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
