System Architect - High Performance Financial Systems

Summary: As a System Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing highperformance highthroughput and lowlatency systems tailored for the financial industry. Your expertise will help us build robust and scalable solutions that meet the demanding requirements. You will work closely a dedicated team to ensure the architecture supports the companys business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect highperformance highthroughput and lowlatency systems for financial applications.
• Collaborate with product managers software engineers and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring the architecture meets business needs.
• Develop and maintain system architecture documentation including design patterns best practices and technical standards.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies tools and frameworks to ensure the systems performance scalability and reliability.
• Lead the technical aspects of projects including system design integration and performance tuning.
• Conduct performance analysis identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve system throughput and reduce latency.
• Ensure security compliance and regulatory requirements are met within the system architecture.
• Mentor and guide development teams on architectural best practices and standards.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the architecture and system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Architect or similar role in the financial industry with a focus on highperformance highthroughput and lowlatency systems.
• Strong understanding of financial markets trading systems exchanges banks and brokers.
• Extensive experience with performance tuning optimization and scaling of largescale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# C Go or Java.
• Indepth knowledge of network protocols multithreading and concurrency.
• Experience with middleware messaging systems and data streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka ZeroMQ Aeron Sequencer).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g. AWS Azure Kubernetes Docker); or has extensive experience with on premise hosting.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Comfortable to liaise in both English and Chinese with stakeholders stationed in APAC.
• Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with FIX protocol and other financial communication protocols.
• Knowledge of database systems both SQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge in system monitoring tools such as Grafana or Kibana
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
