Enjoy the support of longterm team members as you embrace the next chapter in Radiology including replacements of MRI and CT equipment and a new interventional CT suite. Besides these updates the MRICT Manager will influence the alignment of policies and procedures for the Radiology team across The University of Vermont Health Network. An emphasis on relationship building and strong communication will serve the MRICT manager well.
The MRICT Manager supervises a team spread across three locations for MRI and two locations for CT. CVPH uses 4 MRI scanners and 3 CT scanners with a fourth (256 slice CT Scanner) scheduled to come online in the next twelve months.
Job Description
Protocol improvement development and revision for both CT and MRI. Process improvement. Policy revision. Policy development. Staffing and scheduling. Employee concerns/coaching. Staff education. Patient satisfaction/service recovery. PACS support and RIS support. Radiation safety. Other duties as assigned. Purchasing and vendor research/relationships. Quality assurance for both MR and CT. CT and MR imaging postprocessing.
Requirements:
Associates degree in Radiography.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required with advanced certification in CT or MRI certification.
Eligibility to obtain State of New York Department of Health Radiologic Technologist certification.
At least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital radiology setting
Experience with MR and/or CT equipment
