CNC Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machines such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints drawings or specific instructions.
  
• Set up machines by adjusting controls tooling and fixtures to ensure proper machining process.
  
• Select appropriate cutting tools and materials based on job requirements.
  
• Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or deviations from specifications; make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules.
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in operating manual machines and understanding technical drawings and blueprints.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
  
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to machining operations.
  
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus
