About the Role:

The services of an experienced Data Analyst Services are required to support work for

decommissioning the clients mainframe system(s). This work involves using new and existing applications to create a future state that does not rely on mainframe application(s) to support the underwriting risk management and account receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

• The Data Analyst Services will be supporting mainframe decommissioning by retargeting the business process into existing or new underwriting and finance applications. The Data Analyst Services is required to carry out data analysis activities by evaluating current state performing data gap analysis and support development of future state data needs. The Data Analyst Services will work closely with key business stakeholders to document current state and requirements examine data and evaluate patterns and troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations on solutions based on data management best practices.
  

Requirements

Specific Project Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  

• Demonstrated experience in SQL programming is required.
  

• Demonstrated experience in ETL is required.
  

• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in current and future state data mapping.
  

• Carry out data validation and identify and resolve discrepancies (format content values).
  

• Work with business team members on troubleshooting
  

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  

• Wellrounded experience in the whole data lifecycle management and handson experience in the following data management domains: dimensional and relational data modeling data quality SQL programming (minimum 5 years) ETL development metadata management and master data management and business intelligence.
  

• Experience with reverse engineering the source to target mapping to gain data insights
  

• Experience refactoring existing SQL code to new/alternate data sources.
  

Other Skills Required:

• Experience with Azure Data Platform technologies or other public cloud offerings
  

• Programming experience: SQL
  

• Experience with Databricks
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication critical thinking time management priority
