5D are proud to be working with an engineering business who have been established for over 75 years. World leaders in the design and manufacture of power generation and switchgear products they supply into a variety of sectors including data centres offshore as well as hospitals schools and other public buildings. They have developed a new product line and sales have exceeded all expectations. As a result we are looking to recruit a number of assembly technicians to cope the increased demand.

Requirements

What the Role Will Involve:

Working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions to build assemblies and subassemblies on the businesses most successful product line.

Using hand tools such as potrivet guns & drills.

Bolting in subassemblies into main assemblies and chassis.

Measuring and cutting metal including copper and mild steel.

Mechanical assembly experience ideally working with assemblies and subassemblies.

Can read engineering drawings general arrangement drawings and work from SOP s and assembly instructions.

Engineering/assembly experience.
