Job Description
Responsible for working with our Enterprise applications and migrate data
into the Cloud.
Set up ETL process to move data into Cloud and refresh on a daily basis.
Help the team in optimizing queries and evaluating different architectures.
Working with internal teams and helping them make the most of our data
lake.
Helping with identifying processes and tasks that can be automated with
internal tools.
Will also be directly responsible for building these tools.
Participates in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to
future architect direction.
Assists in the analysis design and development of a roadmap design
pattern and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a
cohesive architecture viewpoint.
Gathers and analyses data and develops architectural requirements at project
level.
Participates in the Data Governance Council.
Supports the development data and data delivery platforms that are service
oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into
different methods for different businesses.
Researches and evaluates emerging data technology industry and market
trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Coaches and mentors team members.
Long term development and Technical expertise in DW/BI Practice
communicate well with all stakeholders optimize objectives leverage state of
the art tools and best practices integrate into corporate systems and deliver
on time.
Deep understanding in Data Warehousing Enterprise Architectures
Dimensional Modeling ETL Architect ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) Data
Analysis Data Conversion/Transformation Database Design Data
Warehouse Optimization Data Mart Development and Enterprise Data
Warehouse Maintenance and Support etc.
Should have independently worked on proposing architecture design and
data ingestion concepts.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data architecture and Modeling.
Skills Required
A Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Integration or ingestion.
Knowledge of ETL SQL Python and AWS tools like Redshift Glue Data
pipeline Lambda is a must.
Experience in writing API functions for Amazon Lambda to manage some of
the AWS services.
Strong understanding of core AWS services uses and basic AWS
architecture best practices.
Proficiency in developing deploying and debugging cloudbased applications
using AWS.
Designing and Developing Cloud Native applications using Microservices
Elastic BeanStalk ElastiCache Lambda S3 SQS and SNS. AWS Certified
Developer preferred.
Solid Understanding of Data structures Algorithm and Analytical problems.
ETL/ELT and data warehousing experience.
Expertise in SQL.
Working experience in UNIX/ shell scripting.
Good to have experience on AWS services such as (PySpark Glue RDS
Lambda S3).
Experience using a wide range of data and orchestration technologies
(Postgres Redshift Athena Hive Kafka Kinesis Airflow Talend
