Job Description
Overview
The PHP Developer plays a crucial role in our organization contributing to the development and maintenance of our web applications and platforms. They are responsible for creating efficient scalable and secure code to meet our business requirements and enhance user experience. The PHP Developer will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions that drive our companys success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain serverside architecture using PHP and its frameworks
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding debugging and optimization
- Create and integrate database solutions and ensure data security and integrity
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional cohesive code
- Implement API integrations for various web services
- Conduct performance and security testing
- Identify and fix technical problems
- Optimize and improve existing systems
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in the web development industry
- Contribute to technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel CodeIgniter etc.
- Experience with MySQL MongoDB or other databases
- Understanding of version control (e.g. Git) and package management tools
- Familiarity with APIs RESTful web services and integration techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems
- Solid understanding of security optimization and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
