DevOps Technical Lead Sydney

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DevOps Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure Azure APIM D365 PowerApps and SharePoint. You will be responsible for leading the DevOps practice implementing best practices and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the DevOps team providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and streamline operations.
• Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) configuration management and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Oversee the management and scaling of Azure resources ensuring optimal performance costefficiency and security.
• Implement and manage Azure API Management (APIM) for effective API governance and management.
• Administer and optimize Dynamics 365 (D365) environments for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain PowerApps solutions to meet business needs.
• Manage and maintain SharePoint environments ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps trends and technologies incorporating relevant innovations into the companys practices.

Qualifications

• 14 years of experience in IT with at least 3 years in a DevOps leadership role.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure including Azure DevOps Azure APIM Azure Functions and other related services.
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 PowerApps and SharePoint.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or Bash.
• Handson experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar.
• Strong understanding of networking security and infrastructure best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure or related technologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server Cosmos DB or similar
• Australian PR/Citizen/Full work rights to work in Australia
