Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1 Reduce Conversion Cost: Develop and implement strategies to minimize the cost of converting raw materials into finished goods. Analyze and optimize production processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency. 2 Increase Employee Productivity: Establish performance metrics and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. 3 Increase Utilization: Optimize resource allocation and scheduling to maximize the utilization of equipment labor and materials. Monitor and analyze utilization rates making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance. 4 Decrease Equipment Downtime: Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure rapid response and effective resolution of equipment issues to maintain continuous operations. 5 Reduce Scraps: Develop and implement quality control processes to reduce scrap rates. Analyze production data to identify root causes of scrap and implement corrective actions. 6 Reduce Returns: Ensure high standards of product quality and consistency to minimize customer returns. Implement feedback loops with customers to identify areas for improvement and reduce return rates. 7 Reduce E&O Inventory: Optimize inventory management to minimize excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory. Implement inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory levels. 8 Shorten Lead Time: Streamline production processes and supply chain operations to reduce lead times. Implement justintime (JIT) production techniques to enhance responsiveness and efficiency. 9 Increase Fulfillment: Ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time to meet customer expectations. Implement systems and processes to improve order processing and fulfillment rates. 10 Drive Organizational Accountability: Establish clear performance goals and accountability standards across the organization. Implement regular performance reviews and feedback mechanisms to ensure accountability at all levels.
