Tasks

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will work directly on our global platform bridging the gap between our product and development teams. You will be responsible for implementing new features and enhancing our systems with a strong emphasis on backend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features on our global platform.
• Enhance and maintain existing systems with a focus on backend development.
• Collaborate with the product team to understand and translate requirements.
• Work with a team of 5 highly skilled developers.
• Utilize AWShosted infrastructure and modern technologies.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Excellent skills in PHP and Laravel or Symfony framework.
• Experience with MySQL and/or Postgres handling large datasets and complex queries.
• Proficiency in working with queues and asynchronous task processing.
• Experience with API development (REST XML).
• Solid understanding of complex web applications.
• Knowledge of modern technologies and standards; AWS experience is a bonus.
• Additional skills in Python or JavaScript are a plus.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies is advantageous.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problemsolving abilities.
• Passion for technology.
• Highly organized and meticulous.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a developer.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a major plus.

Languages:

• Fluent in English and French (both mandatory).
