Quality Inspector

Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring all specified quality requirements are met.

Requirements

Perform 1st piece inprocess and final inspection.

Review customer blueprint/contract documents by analyzing specifications matching internal drawings/work order instructions and identifying discrepancies.

Prepare First Article and Final Inspection reports.

Read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.

Work closely with the shop floor to complete inspections in a timely manner and correct any nonconformances.

Must be able to inspect using measuring tools including but not limited to micrometers dial indicators calipers and optical comparator.

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of AS9100

CMM programming knowledge a plus
