The salary bracket for this position is 35K 40K dependent on experience.

Working primarily with packaged software configured to suit our requirements our testers are highly respected members of our team known for their attention to detail and exacting standards.
They work alongside the wider project team and external software providers from project initiation to completion developing a detailed knowledge of the solution and requirements which in turn allows them to support the project through functional testing UAT and project launch. They are also able to underpin the wider delivery functions such as training and post go live support.
We are seeking a tenacious methodical and experienced QA to join this team.
We are particularly keen on candidates with an interest or experience in test automation who would be able to assist with the development of our SmartBear solution. Some experience with XML would also be welcome.

Introduction to the team:
The IT Delivery Change and Operations Teams are a group of more than fifty individuals covering multiple specialisms. Based across Liverpool Manchester London and Singapore the team are responsible for the strategy planning delivery cyber security service management and 24/7 support of all IT Services to over 1000 staff globally within our 100m turnover firm.
Sitting at the heart of this wider team the PMO currently comprises two team leads six project managers five business analysts two QA analysts and a PMO analyst.
We are responsible for the planning and delivery of all IT projects across the board and our work touches every part of the business. Alongside this we also work with the business to deliver continuous improvement utilising Lean Six Sigma methodology to ensure that we are keeping internal processes efficient and therefore providing best value for our clients.
We are a closeknit team who work exceptionally well together and we re proud of the ethos we have developed. We work hard and take delight in our achievements however we strive for continuous improvement and look to each other to share and learn as we go.
Key responsibilities:
Analysis Working with the BA team to fully understand the business requirements to ensure testing plans are fit for purpose
Documentation Written test plans and drawing up of test scripts
Estimating & Planning Working with the Project Managers to agree scope and timelines for testing
Testing Execution of system testing of new and existing systems
Automation Ability to use testing automation software (preferably SmartBear)
Issue Management Rigorous record keeping of issues and tracking to conclusion
Business Acceptance Testing and User Training supporting the Project Management and Training Teams in the delivery of both elements
Post launch support supporting business users during rollout and handing over to Service Desk
Strategy development working with colleagues to develop the testing strategy for the team
What are we looking for:
Essential:
Experience of writing and executing detailed test scripts
Experience of working with integrated software and APIs
Experience of working with external solution providers
Experience of estimating planning and scope management around testing
Experience of working with release management and regression testing
Experience of working with Change Control within a project
Experience in working with SQL
Experience in working with XML
Experience of working with data migration projects
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Experience of working with internal stakeholders at all levels and managing external suppliers
Experience of working with Jira software for testing purposes
Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Desirable:
Knowledge of the legal sector
Experience of working with other software such as Postman / TFS
Experience of testing cloudbased solutions
Experience of working with PowerBI / SSRS
Experience of working with Financial Systems such as Aderant
Experience of working with Case Management systems such as Sharedo
Experience of working with CRM System such as Microsoft Dynamics
An interest in and some experience of automated testing
