Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney Airport Projects and Commercial Transactions

Location: New York NY (Fulltime positions also available in Denver CO; San Francisco CA; or Washington DC)
Salary Range: As per experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated creative and collaborative Senior Associate Attorney to join our projectsoriented practice. The successful candidate will be integral to our nationwide Airports practice focusing on PublicPrivate Partnerships and Alternative Project Delivery. This role involves working directly with clients and partners on complex airport commercial transactions and federal regulatory issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Key Practice Role:

    • Serve as a key member of our Airports practice contributing to PublicPrivate Partnerships and Alternative Project Delivery efforts.
    • Negotiate and draft agreements related to complex airport commercial transactions.
    • Advise clients on federal regulatory requirements regarding airport development finance construction procurement and environmental matters.
  • Client and Partner Engagement:

    • Work directly with clients and partners to support and facilitate intricate airportrelated projects.
    • Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance on transaction structuring and regulatory compliance.
  • Travel and Representation:

    • Engage in periodic travel for client meetings industry conferences and to visit with colleagues at other firm offices.
Requirements:
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years of relevant transactional or regulatory experience.
    • Demonstrated expertise in drafting negotiating and analyzing complex legal documents.
    • Proven ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Skills:

    • Exceptional writing legal drafting analytical negotiating and advocacy skills.
    • Strong problemsolving capabilities and ability to navigate complex legal and business issues.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Education and Licensing:

    • Law degree from an accredited law school with academic excellence.
    • Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (CO NY DC or CA preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with federal regulatory frameworks related to airports or transportation regulations.
  • Background in drafting bespoke agreements for innovative commercial transactions.
  • Familiarity with airport operations airport law or aviationrelated legal issues.
  • Demonstrated interest in public infrastructure aviation transportation and public policy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a collegial teamfocused approach.
Position Details:
  • Locations: Denver CO; San Francisco CA; New York NY; or Washington DC.
  • Billable Hours: Annual expectation of 1600 billable hours with unlimited approved pro bono hours.
  • Travel: Periodic travel for client meetings industry conferences and interoffice visits.
  • Salary Range: $185000 $225000 commensurate with experience.
