QC Inspector II

JOB TITLE: QC Inspector II Aerospace

LOCATION: Savannah GA

Summary:

• Perform inspections using engineering drawings work instructions technical specifications QA procedures and related documents.

• Conduct preliminary progressive and final inspections of aircraft structures and systems verifying functional operation inspecting for FOD and completing necessary paperwork.

• Witness verify and document specified manufacturing process steps.

• Perform conformity/first article inspections for FAA compliance.

• Conduct transfer and consolidated inspections.

• Ensure proper use and storage of tools and equipment.

• Promote health and safety by conducting work safely participating in safety investigations reporting hazards and contributing to the Safety program.

• Provide onthejob training for junior inspectors.

• Coordinate inspection workload based on priorities efficiency and costeffectiveness.

• Offer technical support to manufacturing engineering and IPT personnel.

• Perform duties with MRB signature authority.

• Conduct area inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

• Lead continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 3 years of quality inspection experience required.

• 5 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent aerospace experience preferred.

• Completion of a Formal Inspection Training Program within 90 days required.

• Proficient in GAC CATIA or blueprint reading and interpretation GAC work instructions technical specifications and GAC QA Manual.

• Competent in the use of all jobrelated tools and equipment.
