Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge in the private housing sector

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team helping us shape the future of residential development. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to make a significant impact on highquality housing projects.

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our residential building projects. Your role will encompass the entire project lifecycle from initial calculations to final figures ensuring that the projects are completed within the budget and to the highest standards.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Flexibility to start earlier.

Key Duties

• Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for new developments

• Conduct feasibility studies cost control and cost management

• Prepare tender and contract documents.

• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work

• Perform risk value management and cost control.

• Advise on procurement strategy

• Identify analyse and develop responses to commercial risks

• Provide advice on contractual claims

• Value completed work and arrange payments as well as negotiate with subcontractors.

• Knowledge of Construction Contract legal framework (contractual notices etc)

• A solid subcontractor contact book/network

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housing development sector

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

• Experience with construction management softwares.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects sites.

• Minimum 4 years house builder PLC or Residential experience as QS roleHND / Degree.
