TICKETER

• The Ticketing Officer is responsible for planning and making reservations for Wakanow customers. Responsibilities
  
• Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from various travel options.
  
• Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
  
• Check the availability of accommodation based on the customers desired travel dates.
  
• Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
  
• Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
  
• Providing support to customers who have already made travel purchases by confirming changing or canceling the reservations
  
• Notifying passengers about involuntary flight rescheduling or cancelations
  
• Selling addon travel products such as hotels travel insurance etc.
  
• Informing clients of essential travel information such as travel times transportation connections and medical and visa requirements.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Ticketing role.
  
• Applicants should know how to issue and reissue tickets know how to do refunds is a plus and have a diploma/ Consultant in IATA/ UFTAA is also a plus.
  
• Demonstrated experience in the use of Amadeus and other GDS platform
  
• A deep knowledge of the aviation industry and ticketing rules
  
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft that is Word Excel and PowerPoint.
