Lead Frontend Engineer

Role

Were looking for an outstanding Vue.js Engineer to work with a frontend team in the continued development of a wide range of features and services within the recruitment sphere.

As the teams Lead frontend Engineer you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the business and development ends of our software as a service (SaaS). This means that you will enjoy a high level of involvement and direct handson experience in the planning and development of new and exciting features from inception to deployment.

Our ideal candidate is one who is passionate about building elegant and scalable software and combines superb communication skills and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement key tasks for existing and new features
• Review merge and deploy code submitted by other frontend team members
• Be prepared to quickly and efficiently investigate debug and resolve unforeseen frontend issues.
• Coordinate with the frontend engineers testers and project managers about the status and direction of ongoing projects
• Define and refine the direction of Manatals front end architecture

Technical Requirements

• You have 2 years of experience in building singlepage applications using React Angular or Vue (we use Vue.js)
• You have high code quality standards and a good knowledge of engineering best practices
• You have built mobileresponsive web applications
• You have exceptional proficiency with CSS and you are someone that has a passion for crafting beautiful User Interfaces and User Experiences
• You have excellent design skills and an exceptional eye for details
• Experience and fluency using Github within a collaborative work environment
• Experience building user interface based on material UI is a big plus

Nontechnical Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or related field
• You are a highly motivated individual that thrives in fastpaced environments
• Ability to communicate and comprehend highlevel spoken and written concepts in English
• Possesses a strong sense of ownership and accountability for each project undertaken
• Passionate about automation and optimization in daily tasks
• A strong proponent of the Dont Repeat Yourself (DRY) principle
• Openminded confident humble selfmanaging and a solid team player
• Patient and consistent when mentoring or guiding team members
