Job Description
Title Cloud Infrastructure Architect (GCP)
Duraton: Long Term
Location: Remote across Canada/USA (onsite as required for customer/team meetings)
Working hours: EST
Cloud : GCP multi cloud experience is a plus.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Stay uptodate with the latest GCP services features and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a GCP Solution Architect with a focus on landing zone and networking design.
- Extensive experience as a GCP Solution Architect with expertise in GKE Composer Dataflow and Vertex AI.
- Expertise in GCP networking including VPC subnets firewall rules and load balancing.
- Strong understanding of onpremises networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines using GCP services like Dataflow Pub/Sub and BigQuery.
- Deep knowledge of GCP security principles including IAM Cloud Identity and security best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure security and IaC security particularly with Terraform.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer are highly desirable.
