Infrastructure Engineer - San Antonio TX - W2

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Business Computer Systems Management Information Systems or related field from an accredited university or equivalent working experience.
Subject matter expert in Windows/Linux Administration VMware Virtualization and Cloud native solutions.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure supporting the migration from physical to virtual environments.
Applied computer skills including networking hardware system administration active directory operating systems and desktop applications.
Knowledge of data communications telecommunications operating systems storage virtualization compute virtualization and hypervisors.
Extensive experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS.
Experience with scripting VMware DRS HA storage/network multipath and SAN/NAS deployment and management.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree or relevant certification.
Extensive experience as a Systems Administrator in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
Experience in supporting utility construction and maintenance.
Knowledge of DevOps tools (Ansible Git Jenkins Bugzilla) and advanced understanding of VMware vSphere virtualization and cloud technologies.
Preferred certifications: ITIL MCSE VCP Azure Solutions Architect Expert MS 365.

MustHave:
Experienced in VMware Virtualization and Azure Administration.
Experience with priority protocol.
Knowledgeable in cyberrelated terminology.
Intermediatelevel Microsoft experience.
Skilled in building and creating technical documents structure and architecture providing support to EIT on system functionality.
