IV Advisor Dental

Insurance Verification (IV) Advisor:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Insurance Verification (IV) Advisor to join our team providing crucial support to USbased dental practices. As an IV Advisor you will ensure accurate and timely insurance verification and benefits investigation to facilitate smooth patient treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Verification:

• Conduct comprehensive insurance verification and benefits investigation for dental patients
• Accurately document patient insurance information and verify coverage details before treatment
• Communicate with insurance companies to confirm coverage and benefits resolving any discrepancies or issues

Patient Coordination:

• Work closely with dental practice staff to ensure all necessary insurance information is gathered and verified before patient appointments
• Educate patients about their insurance coverage and benefits addressing any questions or concerns

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain detailed records of insurance verification processes and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to insurance verification
• Stay updated with changes in insurance policies regulations and industry best practices

Collaboration and Communication:

• Coordinate with billing and revenue cycle management teams to ensure seamless integration of insurance verification processes
• Provide regular updates and reports on insurance verification activities to practice management and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 13 years of experience in insurance verification within USbased dental practices

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies procedures and verification processes
• Proficiency in dental practice management software (i.e. Dentrix EagleSoft Open Dental etc.)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting
