PASQAL designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.

Our innovative technology enables us to address use cases that are currently beyond the reach of the most powerful supercomputers; these cases can concern industrial application challenges as well as fundamental science needs.

In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry.

At the Quantum Register teamwe push the limits of the performance of the QPUs register enabling scalability and highrepetition rate.

Job Description

As part of our strong growth we are recruiting a Algorithm Developer to reinforce our Register team. In this context your main missions will be:

• Lead the work on algorithmic solutions for various applications and systems
• Design implement and optimize complex algorithms.
• Ensure the efficiency reliability and scalability of algorithms
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to integrate algorithms into largersystems
• Bibliography work on the many classes of algorithms implemented stay updated
  with advancements in the technology
• Testing algorithms for effectiveness
• Effective documentation and presentation of the algorithmic solutions and
  methodologies
• Maintain and improve algorithms coded in our software
• Work with other members of the team and with other teams to design algorithms to
  meet a need
• Optimize the speed performance of algorithms and software

About you

Technical skills:

• Proven experience as algorithm developer; machine learning knowledge is highly
  appreciated
• Proficiency in Python; C in a plus
• Strong knowledge on math physics engineering
• Version control
• Reporting results

Workplace skills:

• Autonomy and organization are highly appreciated
• Analytical thinking
• Time management meet deadlines
• Excellent problemsolving skills and logical reasoning
• Communication and listening skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams teamwork
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. French is a plus.
